The Health Department, Chandigarh (Department) has in an Order dated 20.11.2020 issued the revised rates for COVID-19 testing in Chandigarh.
The maximum rates chargeable for testing by private laboratories are fixed as follows:
- RT-PCR Testing – Rs. 900/- (Reduced from earlier fixed rate of Rs. 1200/-)
- Rapid Antigen Test – Rs.500/- (Reduced from earlier fixed rate of Rs. 650/-)
The test rates are inclusive of GST/Taxes along with pick-up cost, PPE, packing, transportation of samples, and documentation and reporting within Chandigarh.
Additionally, all laboratories conducting COVID-19 tests have been instructed to follow the guidelines issued by ICMR from time to time.
