In a Circular dated 31st December, 2019, the National Stock Exchange of India has issued information regarding filing of information regarding Statement of Deviation/ Variation on Electronic Platform.
Through the Circular, the listed companies are requested to submit their Statement under announcement with subject “Statement of deviation(s) or variation(s) under Reg. 32” by visiting the Url https://neaps.nseindia.com/LISTING/ .
Further, the companies must follow the path to proceed with the online filing:
“ NEAPS > COMPLIANCE > Announcement > Announcement/CA > Create New Announcement “
Background:
Previously, in a circular dated 24th December 2019 (detailed in trail) the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) had laid down the format for submitting the Statement of Deviation or Variation for proceeds of public issue, rights issue, preferential issue, Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) etc. In light of this, the online filing system has been introduced.
Please note that the companies must file the required information only through NSE Electronic Application Processing System (NEAPS).
