The Central Ground Water Authority, has in a Gazette Notification dated 24th September, 2020, notified the revised Guidelines to Regulate and Control Groundwater Extraction in the country (“Guidelines”) in supersession of the previous guidelines to regulate and control ground water extraction in India dated 12th December, 2018.
