In a recent Press Release dated 19th November, 2018 issued by the Labour Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh, the State Government has declared 28th November, 2018 as a holiday for all industries, businesses, shops and establishments in view of the upcoming Vidhan Sabha Elections that is scheduled to be held in the State.
Exemption is given for cases where the absence of someone can lead to a substantial loss in the business, but such provision must be there so that he can go and timely cast his vote.
