In a Notification dated 10th December, 2019 the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Fund under Ease of Doing Business has introduced an online payment gateway for payment of labour welfare fund under the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board Act, 1949. The said gateway for online payment has become effective on 1st January, 2020.
It is further informed that the online payment gateway can be accessed through : https://public.mlwb.in/public.
From now, all establishments in the state are required to register in the link given above by providing their details and those of their employees. It is a one time registration.
The payment can be done through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / Payment Apps / NEFT / RTGS and other facilities of Secure Payment Gateway.
