The The Ministry of Communications (“Ministry”) through a memorandum dated April 12, 2019 has instructed all the prospective Applications for grant of Equipment Type Approval (ETA) through Self- Declaration on SARAL SANCHAR Portal.

All applicants must apply through newly introduced online facility at URL of SaralSanchar Portal http://saralsanchar.gov.in for obtaining ETA/import for products falling under the category of “ETA through self- declaration”. This will be mandatory from 1^st May, 2019.

In case of any issue in application, an applicant can adopt the existing procedure which is by sending email to etaselfdecl.wpc-dot@gov.in up to 30^th April, 2019.

How to apply online?

• Register yourself at SaralSanchar Portal. You will then receive login credentials on your registered number, through which you can log into the system.
• You must ensure all required documents must be in PDF format before uploading in portal.
• The payment of INR 10,000 must be made through Bharatkosh (NTRP) Portal https://bharatkosh.gov.in under purpose ‘Equipment Type Approval (ETA)’ to 077188-CCA PAO Headquarters.
