The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (“MORTH”) has notified the Standards for Safety Evaluation of vehicles propelled by Hydrogen Fuel cells which is expected to further promote vehicles which are efficient in energy and environment friendly.
The Notification has been issued by virtue of an amendment to Central Motor Vehicles Rules,1989 on 23rd September, 2020.
Also, the standards are at par with the available international standards.
