The Ministry of Steel (“Ministry”) has notified extended the date of implementation of Indian Standards for Stamping / Laminations / Core of Transformers (with or without winding). The date of implementation for Stampings/ laminations/ cores of transformers (with or without winding) has been extended from 31st December 2020, to 31st March, 2021.
Background:
Through the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2020 the Ministry had established standards for steel and steel products. Through the present Notification, the date of implementation of the standards have been extended till 31st March, 2021.
