Rajasthan Govt. proposes to fix working hours for sales promotion employees of pharmaceutical companies under the Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976

The Rajasthan Labour Department has, in a Notification dated 27th August 2020, proposed to fix working hours for sales promotion employees of the pharmaceutical companies under the Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976 as follows:

Proposed working hours:

From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm (including 10:00 am to 11:00 am for one-hour preparation and written work and 3:00 pm to 4:00 PM lunch break) Municipal corporation area Jaipur (Greater / Heritage), Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Municipal Council area Alwar
from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (including 10:00 am to 11:00 am for one-hour preparation and written work and 3:00 pm to 4:00 PM lunch break) All other town and council areas apart from the above mentioned Municipal Corporation / towns of Rajasthan

 

Further, the Notification also seeks objections and suggestions within a period of one month from the date of its publication in the Gazette.

Objections and suggestions can be sent to Additional Labour Commissioner and Joint Government Secretary, Labour, Rajasthan, Jaipur.
