In view to enhance Ease of Doing Business in the State of Himachal Pradesh, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh by a Gazette Notification dated 17th August, 2020 has ordered that renewal of registration / license granted under certain labour laws will now be done online including submission of renewal applications alongwith online deposit of renewal fee through existing portals of the Department.
Renewal of registration / license granted under the following labour laws will now be done online with online deposit of renewal fee –
- The Factories Act, 1948;
- The Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970;
- The H.P. Shops & Commercial Establishment Act, 1969;
- The Inter-State Migrant Workmen (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1979.
