The Government of Himachal Pradesh, Office of the District Magistrate Chamba, District Chamba issues an Order dated May 28, 2020 in suppression of all the previous orders with regard to work permissions and states that the new directions in this Order have been issued for all the future work-related permissions. It also clarifies that this Order will not be applicable to Containment Zones notified in compliance of directions of Health Department for containment of spread of COVID-19.
The Order directs that all the private organisations can start their work without any permission, by intimating the respective SDM regarding the name and the location of the work. with the name, designation and contact number of Compliance Officer. However, for organisations/establishments with more than Twenty (20) employees, the request for work permissions will have to be submitted to this office on email (adc-cha-hp@nic.in). It also states that the work in such organisations/establishments can only he commenced after requisite approval from this office.
Further, all the private individual works requires no permission. The individual concerned shall be the de-facto Compliance Officer.
The Order specifies that all the Head of Department and Compliance Officer must ensure that all the guidelines to contain the impact of COVID-19, as issued from time to time by Ministry of Home Affairs GOI, Government of Himachal Pradesh and this Office are properly implemented at work site and SOP is strictly complied with.
