West Bengal Health Department issues advisory in light of increase in Covid-19 cases in the State ; directs to follow Covid appropriate behavior (physical distancing, wearing of masks/face covers and respiratory hygiene) at all times

Considering the rise in number of Covid-19 cases in the State, the Health Department of West Bengal has issued the following advisory to be adhered to:

1. People in public gathering must follow Covid-19 appropriate behaviour i.e. physical distancing, wearing of masks / face covers and respiratory hygiene.
2. Places of public gathering / public transport , markets must be fully sanitised and well ventilated.
3. Proper arrangements of thermal screening and sanitisation must be made available at public places.
4. Only asymptomatic and fully vaccinated people should preferably attend the public gatherings while complying with covid appropriate behaviour.
