Karnataka Fire Force (Amendment) Act, 2023 (“2023 Amendment”) which amends the Karnataka Fire Force Act, 1964 to insert provisions relating to obtaining NOC for constructing a *high rise building has been notified and will be deemed to have gained effect on 24th March 2023.
[*A high-rise building” means a building of 21 meters or above in height irrespective of its occupancy as defined in the National Building Code 2016.]
With the 2023 Amendment gaining effect, the Karnataka Fire Force (Amendment) Ordinance, 2023 (please refer to trail e-mails for a detailed read) has been repealed.
