ESIC proposes to relax eligibility condition of 2 years insurable employment and contributory conditions under ‘Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana’ (ABVKY) Scheme; invites public comments till 16th December, 2021

The Employee State Insurance Corporation (“ESIC”) has proposed to relax the eligibility condition of minimum 2 years insurable employment before unemployment and contributory condition under Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana scheme.

As per the relaxed condition, the Insured Person should have been in an insurable employment for a minimum period of 12 months immediately before his / her unemployment and should have contributed for not less than 78 days in the one completed contribution period in 12 months immediately preceding to unemployment in order to be eligible under the Scheme.

 Any objection or suggestions, which may be received from any person in respect of the above-mentioned within 16th December, 2021 will be considered by the Employees‘ State Insurance Corporation.
