The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (“IRDAI”) has through a Circular dated 30th December, 2020 intimated that the process of submission and generation of data pertaining to Point of Sales (POS) to the Authority has been streamlined and must be made at https://pos.iib.gov.in.

Insurers and insurance intermediaries are therefore advised to upload the Half yearly data on POS portal commencing from the financial year 2020-21. The half yearly data up to September shall be uploaded by 31.01.2021 and the data up to 31.03.2021 by 30.04.2021. In future the half yearly data up to 30^th September must be uploaded on or before 30^th October and data up to 31^st March by 30^th April.
