The Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2023 (“Act”) (which was earlier passed by both houses of the Parliament) has now received the President’s assent. For the details of the provisions of the Act, please refer to our mail below.
The Act will come into force on such date as the Central Government will, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. Additionally, different dates may be appointed for amendments relating to different enactments mentioned in the Schedule.
