Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board by an Office Order dated 31st August, 2020 has extended the validity of Consent to Operate (CTO) for industrial units till 30th September, 2020 with compliance to the conditions earlier mentioned.
Industrial Establishments whose CTO validity was 31.03.2020, 30.04.2020, 31.05.2020, 30.06.2020, 31.07.2020 and 31.08.2020 has been extended till 30th September, 2020. This is being done as due to COVID-19 pandemic it is not possible to inspect the site in light of the applications received from the units. Also, pollution testing of such units is not possible during this pandemic.
Please note that the Order is in Vernacular and we have translated it to the best of our understanding. Once an official translation is available, we will update in case there is a requirement.
