The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (“PESO”) has issued a Circular informing all licensees (Individual & Companies) under Petroleum Rules, 2002, SMPV(U) Rules, 2016, Gas Cylinders Rules, 2016, Explosives Rules, 2008 and Ammonium Nitrate Rules, 2012 with User ID- Password on PESO online portal, to avail the facility of updating their e-mail ID and mobile number in the portal.
The Circular further states that licensees may avail this facility and keep their mobile and email address updated at least once in six months, which will facilitate sharing email and SMS to licensees through the online application regarding status of application and other details by PESO.
Licensees are required to ensure that the profile User ID and Password is operated by the licensee only and not by any third person. PESO will not be responsible in case their User ID is being used by some other person to access their profile having details of their licences. The licensees are directed to take necessary precautions to maintain secrecy of their profile and credentials of PESO online portal.
